As we submerged deeper into our investigation, one vital aspect was the acquiring of six to eight scholarly articles or ongoing conversations revolving around the sphere of our investigations, four of which had to be peer-reviewed sources. The Synthesis Chart assignment (Artifact #1) was devised for us students to categorize each source we acquired for our essays properly. I believe that this outcome definitely tested my ability to evaluate sources properly by their relevance and credibility prior to presenting them in my final literature review. For example, when acquiring my sources, I really needed to evaluate their credibility and the arguments they were making; This led me to consistently ask myself questions like, where did this source come from? Is it reliable? How old is it? For some of these sources, I even made separate searches to make sure that their authors we legitimate authors with some type of established credibility. This was perhaps the most time I spent researching compared to any other assignment in the course because I needed to be sure that my sources not only fit the criteria of being ethical but that their findings accurately correlated to my own research purposes because if not, then my gap would be misrepresented and in the end, my research would not make sense.
For my second artifact supporting this outcome, I will use the Literature review Outline (Artifact #2). In this assignment, students were further instructed to now organize the secondary sources and sentence topics within their own chosen organization and structure. I needed to make the proper decisions and evaluate the content of each source to make sure my credible sources had ongoing conversations. I decided to place each secondary source with similar content within the same area so that way it would be sequential to the next thus, show how their findings were conversating. For this assignment, I also created versions and drafts, which can be seen in the second portion, where I designed the formulation chronologically and then triedthematically.
To the situation, as I did in my literature review outline and also synthesis chart, I decided to give it a lot of thought on how I would organize my secondary sources in a way that they'd complement each other, as well as categorize them properly. To the storyline, Im showed here debating now which decision would most properly fit the obstacle that I'm presented with, the sleeping bear, as I hike my way up the mountain and have no idea which decision would benefit me.

As I stated, the point where we had to start acquiring and evaluating the secondary sources that would make up our literature review was perhaps the biggest barrier I faced in this journey. To the storyline, I placed it as a sleeping bear.

After giving it a lot of thought and evaluating my choices, I decided to simply give the bear a blanket & pillows so that it kept sleeping. This way, I would not disturb it of its peace while asleep because it seemed like the best option with the given circumstances.
